Job
Description:
Review Business processes and systems.
Evaluate Industry trends to identify areas for optimization. Develop
recommendations and future state strategy. Perform gap analysis, define future
state process workflows and data models. Produce and deliver required documents
and reports to customers. Engage with industry experts and leaders to
understand industry focus and direction for the future. Understand industry
regulations and compliance requirements (21 CFR Part 11) from regulatory
agencies such as the FDA. Review and understand vendors and their solution
offerings. Develop comparative methodologies (e.g. Quadrant Maps) highlighting
different vendor positioning in the market. Develop use cases and strategies
for adoption of disruptive technologies (e.g., Machine Learning, IoT) by
vendors. Meet with business subject matter experts and users to understand
their business processes. Provide design inputs to development team (ELN, LIMS,
CDS, LSH, EDC, etc.). Review the developed workflows and test to confirm if it meets
business user’s needs. Reconfigure / update the workflows to meet with business
user requirements. Conduct user demos and support user testing. Provide inputs
on workflows required and future state of the application. Support user
reported issues and work with vendors / applicable stakeholders to resolve the
issues. Create user documentation, best practices and help with user adoption.
Develop change management and risk management strategies. Manage stakeholders
and resolve conflicts. Conduct status meetings and deliverables quality
management. Coordinate with Global Delivery Team from Zifo for Implementation. Domestic
travel and work at client sites as assigned. Telecommuting is allowed once a
week. No international travel will be required for this position. This position
will require 10% of travel within the U.S. to client sites (Boston, San
Francisco, and Chicago) and to Zifo offices (Cary, North Carolina). Each visit
will consist of 2-3 days of travel. Please also note, applications involving

Requirements:
Requires
a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Life Sciences, Biopharma,
Pharmaceutical Science, Biomedical Engineering, Heath Care, or a related field
plus two (2) years of business process experience.
Alternatively,
the employer would accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Life
Sciences,
Biopharma,
Pharmaceutical Science, Biomedical Engineering, Heath Care, or a related field
plus one (1) years of business process experience.
Requires
one (1) year of experience in the following:

At least in one of the following: Drug Discovery Functions, Drug
Development functions, Lab Operations Management, GMP, or Clinical Trial
Management.

Eliciting requirements and creating use cases.
·
Creating documents, such as Processing Mapping, Gap Analysis,
Requirement Specifications, Testing Scripts, or similar tasks.
·
Data Analysis to support requirements.
·
Process and data modeling.
·
Data mining.
·
Cost and benefit analysis.
·
Software development processes: Waterfall or Agile.
·
Computer Software Validation.
·
Office Productivity Tools: MS Project, VISIO, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or
MS SharePoint.
·
At least one of the following: EDC systems, CTMS systems, data
warehousing tools, LIMS systems, ELN platforms, research informatics platforms,
or reporting platforms.
